Fix the ICS Bug Under Vista
The ICS is buggy in Vista and might lead to random connection drops.
When ICS service is Enabled, after a few hours (no specified time frame, might happen anytime) the connections on Vista PC running ICS would down and no more new connection can be made, while the client PC is still working.
Its a confirmed bug and here is the article in Microsoft KB. However, as usual, the hotfix is hidden and you need to get it yourself. So get it from Microsoft now.
What is ICS: Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) is the name given by Microsoft to a feature in recent versions of its Windows operating system (as of Windows 98 Second Edition) for sharing a single Internet connection on one computer between other computers on the same local area network. It makes use of DHCP and Network address translation (NAT).
