There will be a version of Boot Camp that works. It’s called Leopard
Apple Inc. kicked off the month in which it plans to launch its new Mac OS X 10.5, “Leopard,” operating system by reminding users that the beta license for Boot Camp — the utility that allows users to run Windows XP or Vista on an Intel Mac — will expire as soon as the new operating system ships.

Apple has your unlocked iPhone in their crosshairs. However, this appears to have broken a key warranty law relevant to SIM unlocks.
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a law decades old, states that Apple cannot void a warranty for a product with third-party enhancements or modifications to their product. The only exception to this rule is if Apple can determine that the modification or enhancement is responsible damaging the product in question. While Apple has the opportunity to make further exemptions, we will explain how the exemptions Apple has made do not fully apply to this case.

Researcher David Maynor has published details of the controversial Apple Wi-Fi hack he disclosed at last year’s Black Hat conference.
Maynor had been under a nondisclosure agreement, which had previously prevented him from publishing details of the hack, but the NDA is over now and by going public with the information, Maynor hopes to help other Apple researchers with new documentation on things like Wi-Fi debugging and the Mac OS X kernel core dumping facility.”
